Story
Our first born, Dexter, was born on the 12th January 2018 with a congenital heart defect (CHD) which had been picked up in his 20 week scan. Unfortunately his CHD was very unexpectedly inoperable and our precious little boy passed away at 1day 10hours old on the 13th January 2018.
The care we received from all of the staff in St. Michaels NICU was incredible, and we are a very unfortunate family to be going through this very sad journey.
We would like to raise funds for some equipment for NICU to give something back to the incredible staff there, and hopefully help families in the future who are unfortunate enough to need their services. Hopefully any money we raise will help other families have a much happier/longer journey to follow with their babies.

Huge thanks to everyone who has supported us so far! This is Incredible. we're raising funds towards a baby warmer (at £7000 each!) And we are already at just over £1600. This is amazing, thank you everyone for you amazing and very kind support! We have about £270 to add to this sum already from very kind donations at Dexter’s Funeral yesterday, as well as further donations I’ve been made aware of but don’t know how much they are yet. And the great Muddiford bake off this Saturday at 2pm as our first fundraising event! Thank you everyone so much, we’re going to raise a fantastic sum over the next few months to help the Neonatal Unit! 😘
