Welcome to Al-Ikhlas’ Dhul-Hijjah 10 campaign!

10 People, 10 days, £10,000!

Ibn ‘Abbaas reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said: "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days." (Bukhari)

Alhumdulilah through your generosity we have bought the two buildings next to Al-Ikhlas Centre.

Now, we are looking for 10 people to raise £1000 each during the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah.

This is bi idhnillah an easy task, and this much needed £10,000 will allow us to get started with our renovations.

Al-Ikhlas is located in the heart of Adamsdown. Our mosque serves not only local residents, but due to its location many of our regular attendees are refugees and asylum seekers from Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. It is an honour for us to provide them with vital services, and we do our best to make them feel at home and give them a sense of community.

InshaAllah the renovated centre will consist of 3 floors:

Ground floor: a dedicated prayer area for our brothers with wudu facilities, cloakroom and kitchen.

First floor: a dedicated area for our sisters, with a private entrance, two large rooms, wudu facilities, cloakroom, and an outdoor balcony area.

Second Floor: an area for our boys and girl’s youth club, providing our youngsters a fun, social space to relax and be with their friends, spending their time in a safe and positive environment, whilst building an attachment to the masjid.
