Story
Bearded Collie Breed protection was a Facebook Group that Wendy Hines founded and nurtured into a global group of Beardie lovers who were committed to understanding the complex genetics and inheritance patterns involved with the rise in the prevalence of autoimmune disorders. This fund in her memory will be used to further support research into how to make the greatest use of the small gene pool, overcome the problems of that small gene pool, reduce the Coefficients of Inbreeding, control the use of popular sires and research the trigger factors in auto immune disorders such as Addisons disease and SLO (Systemic Lupoid Onchodystrophy)
