I found this message on a forum for domestic violence and I knew I had to do something to help this woman. So many women suffer from domestic violence and they can't get away easily from it. I contacted Maria and she even sent me some pictures of her. Let's make a change in this woman's life, let's give her the life she needs.

"My name is Maria and I desperately need your help. I am in an abusive relationship in which I constantly suffer physical and mental abuse. Almost every day I am beaten up and I am afraid it is getting worse. I tried running away but every time I did I was brutally beaten and threatened that the next time that happens or if I think of calling the police I'll be as good as dead. I have no friends to which I can turn to and I'm afraid for the safety of my family because I can't stay in my country. He controls all of my income so I can't use a single dollar I earn. I need the money so I can buy myself a one way ticket to somewhere far away from him.
