Our Troop was formed in 1950 with Trotsworth Hall as its base, however this aged building is very rundown now, defying health & safety regulations and restricts the number of youth members that we can accommodate. Therefore 1st Virginia Water Scouts Group are embarking on a major property improvement program which includes new disabled access, creating more space for our growing pack, and a safe & warm place to run activities at all weather.

We are doing the 'Walk for Peace' on the 29th of April and ask for sponsorship to raise money to secure Scouting in Virginia Water for future generations to come.

In this day and age it is even more important to build a sense of community for our children and give our children more confidence, responsibility, a broader set of friends, and a chance to pursue things they might not get to do otherwise, adventure and an extended family.
