Story
Exeter House School in Salisbury is a very special place. They provide education, personal development, and a safe environment for children with a multitude of special requirements. My autistic son Leo is very fortunate to attend Exeter House and receive the care and support they provide.
I am running in the London Marathon on 23rd April 2017, and in doing so would like to raise as much money as I can to support Exeter House.
They are always seeking to raise funds for various projects, and presently they are raising money for:-
• A new "post 16" centre which will benefit from new kitchens, workshops and other facilities for the older children.
• A new minibus for school trips and moving the pupils around the various facilities available.
• Sensory play equipment and fixed play equipment specifically designed for students with autism.
You can read more about Exeter House at www.exeterhouseschool.co.uk/
Please help me to help them in the important work they do.

7 years agoLess than 2 weeks to go. After a two week hiatus in training caused by a sore Achilles tendon, I'm back on track completing 10 miles last night without limping! I had to miss the longest training run, but by being patient (not easy) and using lots of ice I now think I'll be fine on the big day, but will lower my sights a little on a finishing time. Thanks to all you kind people, I've raised my fundraising target again, I've also got over £200 in cash to add to the online total. Here's hoping for a wet, miserable and cool day on the 23rd!

7 years agoThe mileage has been stepped up, 14.2 miles this morning, the last couple were hard and I confess may have needed a little nap this afternoon! Again, thank you to those who've sponsored me so far, I'm now hoping to raise at least £2,000.
