Since the beginning of lockdown our club has had to cease not only its swimming programme, but also it’s critical fundraising activities. We are now calling on you - our wide community of past and present swimmers, members, parents, supporters, and friends - to raise funds to support our club.

Doncaster DARTES is the elite swimming training scheme for talented local athletes. It provides the more ambitious swimmers from the towns numerous swimming clubs with the intense training environment that today's sport demands at the top level. It also provides a collective identity at big meets including County, Regional, and National Championships.

Our swimmers range in age from 5 to 18 and come together from across the borough to train for up to 14+ hours per week!

Much of our usual supplementary income throughout the year comes from being able to host now well-established swimming gala’s in addition to stand alone fundraisers such as last year’s masquerade ball. Over the last few years these events have been vital to raise funds and have helped us maintain some of the lowest comparable membership fees across our sport. As we approach the unwelcome anniversary of the 1st lockdown period we estimate that as a club we have lost out on the opportunity to raise in the region of £10,000 to £15,000!

Therefore, we have put together a crowd funding campaign. Let’s show what a great sporting community Doncaster is and help the Club through this difficult time. We want to ensure that our club remains accessible to all at a reasonable price.

The funds raised through this crowdfunding initiative will go towards ensuring the financial sustainability of our club during the COVID-19 crisis, and onwards as we exit this difficult period.

100% off all donations will go to our club, specifically to the benefit of our young athletes.
