The person I love was born in a body that doesn't fit.
Born female growing into the man he is.
That involves top surgery for him.
After a long time on the nhs waiting list which grows longer every day going private has become the best option for both body ( binding the chest is uncomfortable at best and can cause serious pain, bruising and damage) and mind.

My hair is my crowning glory. I love my hair. It's an intrinsic part of how I feel about my own femininity.

What better way to support, say I love you and challenge my own perception of gender than shaving it off :-)
