    Story

We at DPSC live and breath Workington Town, we see the hard work and dedication of our club officials and recognise they're making big decisions, difficult decisions on the back of what is turning out to be a very disappointing season. To implement a wage cut to coaches and players must have been incredibly difficult to deliver and equally as a player or coach to receive that news.

On the back of that we are now asking you, the fan base and people of Workington to donate to our page and help ensure the club fulfil its fixtures, meets the forecasted shortfall and comes out of this situation better, more stable and structured club. It is our firm belief that now the board has evaluated, acted and made the decisions that we want to support them and we have faith they will make the changes necessary to rebuild from this point.

The latest statement tells us that there is a vision, a plan and that these people need support to help ensure they can make it happen and to stabilise the effect of errors made in recruitment and the costs associated as previously mentioned by the club.

We ask you to help them rise up from this moment and help steer this club through these difficult times by donating whatever you can to this page.

The players understand the position the club is in and the remaining players who decided to accept the pay reduction have also decided to donate their internal squad fines to the cause and are looking forward to putting a difficult situation behind them starting with the game against Whitehaven at Summer Bash on Sunday.
