Thank you for making the effort to get this far...the next bit is easy.

The money that you donate will be put to great use on the Childrens & Adolescent Oncology & Haematology Wards in Leeds and will buy equipment and toys that without your help they can’t afford.

There are three Children’s Cancer wards in Leeds that will benefit from your donations: L31 general children’s ward, L32 bone marrow transplant unit & L33 teenage ward.

Our relationship with these wards started in 2000 when our son was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia), back then the wards were based in St James hospital, the location may have changed but the terrific work of the staff continues in treating and caring for the unfortunate kids that find themselves in one of these wards…..I genuinely have no idea have the staff do what they do day & night.

So here’s what ‘a few lads form the Spotted Cow’ hope to do in the ‘Drig to the Dolomites Challenge’… buy a banger, paint it in a super hero theme, thrash it across Europe for 1500 miles in a few days and if it makes it to the other end trash it….. Top Gear rules apply in that you get left behind if your car breaks down!

Let’s be honest by taking part in this rally we are not making a great sacrifice to earn your donations but fortunately for us, and more importantly for the kids and staff who benefit it doesn't matter that we aren’t....your donation will make the same difference!

Money raised previously when we have done this has paid for things ranging from toys through to specialist heart and blood pressure monitoring equipment for babies on the ward that are too small and frail for normal equipment.
