I'm raising an extra £2,000 to help fund new Choral Scholarships at Bolton Priory.

Joined enthusiastically by my wife Claudia, I will walk the 100 kilometres from Manchester Cathedral (where we were married) to Bolton Priory, between Monday 7th and Thursday 10th September. The route will begin gently along the Rochdale Canal before progressing through the more challenging sections of the Pennine and Brontë Ways, passing Hebden Bridge and Haworth before picking up the Dales Way at Addingham. A stark contrast to hours spent at the organ bench!

Our aim is to raise £2,000 to fund the launch of the new Priory Choir School at Bolton Abbey, initially supporting two choral courses for young local musicians.

Every donation will directly support the running of the school and help enrich the Priory’s musical life, helping to ensure the continuation of its rich choral tradition.
