English: My dream for a Trip to the UCI World Championships in Italy

My name is Dariusz Wisniewski. I am a deaf person. My goal is to participate in the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in Cycling.

The UCI Gran Fondo World Championship is organized by the International Cycling Union (UCI).

This year's finals will take place on 29.08-02.09.2018, in Varese, Italy. Race route, 130 km long, with 1950 m Elevation Gain.

The chance to participate in the World Championships does not happen every day. Therefore, I want to make the best use of my chance to start at the UCI Gran Fondo World Cycling Championships. From the moment of qualifying to participating in the final UCI Gran Fondo World Championship, I train hard and passionately.

Participation in the World Championships in Italy is a great training and logistics challenge for me, but also financially challenging. I am looking for partners and support.

However, there is no financial support. I pay for my training plan, performance tests, insurance, license, route ticket flights, fee etc. It is also necessary to pay for accommodation for my stay along with anything else I may need to benefit my performance, such as parts for my bike and nutrition, for eg. gel energy.

I am asking you with a fervent request for help in achieving my goal, participating in the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships. Your help would have such a positive impact and with every bit of help i receive, i am another step closer to making it happen.

On 22the September 2017 in Poznan, I competed in the cycling competition "Skoda Poznan Bike Challenge" (UCI World Gran Fondo Series) a distance of 120km and finished with time 03: 10: 09,52. These competitions were the elimination to the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships that will take place in Varese next year. After reaching the finish line where I qualified for the Final UCI Gran Fondo World Championship in Varese, i was Happy and surprised. This is my first trip and I'm proud of it.

The total cost is over GBP 800. A lot more than I can raise alone, that's why I decided to ask you for help. Below I've placed a list of project costs.

I am very close to achieving my goal, but I need your help. Be part of my success and help me to make it possible. It can be something great with your support.

Nazywam się Dariusz Wiśniewski, pochodzę z Grudziądza. Jestem osobą Głuchą. Moim marzeniem celem jest udział w Mistrzostwach Świata Gran Fondo w Kolarstwie Szosowym. Zawody pod nazwą UCI Gran Fondo World Championship organizowane są przez Międzynarodową Unię Kolarską (UCI).

Tegoroczny finał odbędzie się 29.08-02.09.2018 w miejscowości Varese we Włoszech. Trasa wyścigu na dystancie 130 km.

Szansa na udział w Mistrzostwach Świata nie zdarza się codziennie. Dlatego, swoją szansę na start w Mistrzostwach Świata Gran Fondo w Kolarstwie Szosowym, chcę wykorzystać możliwie najlepiej. Od momentu zakwalifikowania się do udziału w finale UCI Gran Fondo World Championship ostro trenuję a swoje lajtowe podejście do mojej pasji, kolarstwa przeobraziłem.

Udział w Mistrzostwach Świata we Włoszech, to dla mnie duże wyzwanie treningowe i logistyczne, ale przede wszystkim finansowe. Sam szukam sponsora i wsparcia.

Brakuje jednak wsparcia finansowego. Sam opłacam plan treningowy, badania wydolnościowe, zawody, ubezpieczenia, licencję etc. Konieczne jest także zakupienie biletu w obie strony oraz opłacenie pobytu aklimatyzacyjnego przed startem.

Zwracam się do was z gorącą prośbą o pomoc w realizacji mojego celu, udziału w Mistrzostwach Świata Gran Fondo w Kolarstwie Szosowym. Daję z siebie na maxa i wiem, że stać mnie na wiele. Mam nadzieję, że to dostrzeżecie i pomożecie mi osiągnąć cel.

W dniu 22 wrzesnia 2017 wystartowalem w Poznaniu zawody w kolarstwie "Skoda Poznan Bike Challenge" (UCI World Gran Fondo Series) na dystancie 120km i ukonczyłem z czasem 03:10:09,52. Te zawody byly elminacje do MŚ które odbędzie sie w Varese. Po ukończeniu mety gdzie zdobyłem kwalifikację do finału UCI Gran Fondo World Championship w Varese, Byłem szczęśliwy i zaskoczony. Jest to moj pierwszy wyjazd i jestem z tego dumny.

Koszty całego udziału to ponad 4000 złotych. Sporo jeszcze przede mną, dlatego postanowiłem poprosić Was o pomoc. Poniżej umieściłem zestawienie kosztów projektu.

Dziś jednak sam jestem już bardzo blisko osiągnięcia swojego celu, ale potrzebuję Waszej pomocy. Bądźcie częścią mojego sukcesu i pomóżcie mi w realizacji mojego celu.
