In April Dylan and I are going to volunteer in Ghana and would love if you could help us raise money for the trip. All money raised will be split equally, with half going towards funding our trip and half will be used to buy supplies for the villagers and also put towards buying water filters, to help provide clean and safe drinking water.

We will be staying in a small village close by to Lake Volta in Eastern Ghana for three weeks, where we will be helping to build a school as well as helping develop and support the learning of the local children. We are going with an amazing volunteering organisation called Original Volunteers (Please view the link to see what amazing work they do not just in Ghana but in many other countries too). The experience will be humbling and something we will never forget! Seeing how poor many of the people in Ghana are and how they lack the even the most essential resources such as clean water, has made us all the more determined to help.

Some children will not have the littlest items such as a pencil or paper at home so we aim to provide and take as much as we can.

Giving the smallest amount of money will help incredibly to make a difference and will be very much appreciated. We are also looking to take as many old clothes/toys as we can to give to the children and families over in Ghana so any donations of these kind of resources will also be greatly appreciated.

We are really looking forward to being able to go out there and enjoy this experience together.
