Story
This is Dylan. He is just 9years old.
On the 12th February 2015, just after his 4th birthday he was diagnosed with a terminal illness called DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY.
This genetic disease is 100% fatal and will cause Dylan to die from heart and respiratory failure but before that he will become totally paralysed and rely on specialist equipment, such as a specialised electric wheelchair which he will one day be confined to.
We are fundraising to provide Dylan with the independence and full life he deserves. Including equipment that is not provided, care that is not funded, vitamins we have to buy, the numerous trips to sheffield hospital every year for appointments and so so much more... Dylan will be getting a house that will meet his needs as best as a house can but there will be things we need to add to this house to make it a suitable life long home for Dylan.
Every penny will go towards Dylan’s Dream a fund set up to ensure dylan gets the best out of life whether it be care equipment or brilliant memories ❤
This is the hardest thing we could go through as a family and would like to thank everyone for the support shown xx

6 years ago❗❗ massive news ❗❗ the council have today told us they have approved the adaption of a 4 bed bungalow for us which is incredible... we are still funding parts of the move like storage solutions, carpets, decorating Dylan's room, and the garden will be needing adaptions to make it suitable for him and his wheelchair. If you would like to take back your donation and give it to someone who is trying to fund building work then please contact me and I will sort this for you 😍
