Story
.I'm running the Edinburgh 10K this September to raise money for Truck Run 4 Katie (http://truckrun4katie.com/). This is a biennial event to support the work of Katie Drennan, who tirelessly campaigned for better services for CF patients attending the new Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit at University Hospital Limerick (UHL), Ireland.
Katie was always bright and cheerful, no matter what else was going on, and I, along with the rest of the extended family and Katie's wide circle of friends, was devastated when she passed away. I'm so keen to raise money for this charity and support the work it does, so that more services and better care can be provided to CF patients. It's only fitting that we're doing it in her name.
Please donate anything you can! Every single donation goes straight to these life saving services. Thank you.
