We are East Elite Allstars, a non-profit competitive cheerleading team based in Peterborough. The team was founded by Lisa French and Vicky Thurston in September 2013. Our main reasons for creating the team were to pass on our 16 years of experience within Allstar cheerleading and to encourage other young people to find the same love, passion and dedication for the sport as we have.

East Elite started with around 40 young athletes who ranged from 6 to 30 years of age. We have now grown considerably and have over 100 athletes within the team.

We currently hire out a gymnastics facility for 2 evenings a week. But as we continue to grow and thrive we are outgrowing the availability of the gym. Unfortunately we are not able to extend our current sessions within the gym as they are a fully functioning gymnastics club.
Currently we have young people on a waiting list keen to join the East Elite family, however we do not have the space as it stands to accommodate them.
Our ultimate goal is to be able to lease our own facility and be able to provide further training and more opportunities to the Peterborough community to get involved with this fast growing sport.

As we are a non-profit team all the funds we currently raise go back into the team to pay for rent, uniforms, travel to competitions, music and subsidising fees for under privileged families.
We have 6 members of coaching staff whose time and dedication to the team is voluntary.
