Hi all this is a continued page from my previous attempt to raise the money for the Hand-cycle in the picture. so far I have £295.00 from my first page this will continue to build, and eventually I will have the money to but this piece of sporting equipment.

the main purpose of this hand-cycle is to aid me in doing duelathlons and triathlons. in which I will be doing in aid of charities. to date I do race events for Aspire the spinal charity. HARP, the homeless charity, and Lupus uk a cancer charity. I am always willing to do my planned events and future events for charities. This year alone I have many races booked I did a 10 mile race in Dunton Essex last month, I am doing the Silverstone half this Sunday 12/3/17. I Then go down to Brighton to do marathon their this is a 26 miler so a full marathon. I am going to be the first person ever in a wheelchair to push independently. so as you can imagine this is not just an event to me this is going to be a massive achievement.

I am going to use Brighton as a personal fundraiser for me to help with the cost of my hand-cycle. so if you see me on route please do shout word of encouragement thank you. once that is complete I then have a 2 week break and then take on London marathon again this is a 26 miler and a first time back to back 26 miler, I am slightly nervous as if I can do this but I am very determined and very passionate in what I believe in.

and then I have further events booked throughout the year mainly half marathons.

I will finish my page with a little info on who I am and my journey of life to date.

I am Eddie 38 years of age. at the age of 30 I had a motorbike accident that left me paralysed from the chest down, I spent some months in hospital, before deemed independent and being discharged it will be my 9th year of injury this year and like everyone in life I have my ups and downs, I however try my upmost to stay positive and face life full on I hope my story inspires you all
