Weʼve raised £1,348 to save little Eevee's Leg

Funded on Sunday, 9th September 2018

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

My Little Eevee broke her front leg while on a walk along a river with me and my other dog, Leelo. She is 7 months old and a very excitable little flower. Long story short she ran off a bridge into a ravine 3 meters deep, with only rocks underneath.

I rushed her to the vet and they wrapped her leg in bandages and a plastic plate. I was told to return on Monday. If she is lucky it will be soft tissue and she will get a cast. If it is worse, she would need a reconstructive surgery or, possibly for lack of financing, amputation of the leg.

We want to do everything we possibly can to do the best for her.

With your help, this little puppy can run like the wind again - In open fields!

Post-op UPDATE on Eevee: We went to the vet today and got this fancy dressing! The vet says that the leg is healing nicely and prescribed a lot of rest (whereupon he got an evil look from Eevee!) Eevee and me (and Leelo!) would like to thank everyone for your support whether by donation or kind words. We wouldn't be here without you! 🌹❤️

Eevee slept through the whole night, she was comfortable and got a lot of love and cuddles from me, Leelo and of course her Teddy! She had her breakfast and even a wee in the garden, and then back to resting. She is giving me this look now because I won't let her get up! P.S. The vet didn't put a tight bandage on the leg to let it breath a little for now and we'll go back on Monday

UPDATE on Eevee: The vet has just called me. Eevee is out of the surgery, everything went smoothly, they put in the pins and everything is where it is supposed to be. I will be picking her up in the evening and then it is time to rest and recover. I am so relieved that finally all has gone well and now she is on the mend! I cannot thank you all enough! I don't know how I would have gone through this without your support! We are very blessed indeed to be part of this group! 🌹💖 https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/eevee-whippet
