Story
We're a diverse bunch who are passionate about food and community. We also love a good dinner party!
On Christmas Day 2015 we hosted our first ever Christmas Feast at a lovely city center restaurant in Edinburgh. We fed 60 people who'd been using local food banks and who might otherwise not have had a great Christmas Day. We were lucky enough to raise £1,000 that allowed us to buy our guests supermarket vouchers so they could treat themselves to nice food over the holiday period.
The event was such a success that we're doing it all again this year. We'll still work with the food banks but will also collaborate with well established family support organisations to ensure that more vulnerable families get the invitation. This crowdfund is to raise money so we can buy more supermarket vouchers to give to our guests at the end of the meal.
Partners include award winning chef, social entrepreneur and restaurant owner Colin Hinds of Kilted Lobster, Rib Aye and Cooking up a Storm; community food dynamo and one of the founders of The Real Junk Food Project (Edinburgh), Donna McArdle, Circus Café, City Cabs Edinburgh and Children 1st.

I was taken to task by Jay Lamb for winning £25 on betting on Donald Trump becoming PotUS. So, out of shame and guilt at betting on a racist misogynist, 6 x bankrupt anti-muslim galoot; I have decided
