Nkuringo is a community with no running water, no electricity, no transport for getting locals to hospital & there are no tarmac roads into the village. Children who are not sponsored have to work in the mines, forestry or fields to earn money to pay for education. There are a number of small communities link with Nkuringo who have been confirmed HIV and they too need help. I first got involved with this community in 2014 when I was trekking over in Uganda & fell in love with the beautiful area & people. I have since returned in 2017 to take 46kilos of charity aid for the community. Consisting of clothes, shoes, toys & medical supplies.
