My 23 year old nephew has had major brain surgery following a serious head injury and is currently in hospital. He is compassionate, funny, gentle and loved by so many people. He is a gifted maths graduate and was just about to leave for an Australian adventure before starting his masters degree. I am sure you can imagine the devastating effect this has had on our family and we are asking you for help.
His mother works full time for a cancer charity caring for the terminally ill. She spends her life helping others. Now she needs the help of others. She is currently spending all of her time at the hospital, travelling there every day, which is a 76 mile round trip. Her finances are rapidly dwindling and she has to hold everything together. Of course, this means that at present, she is unable to work. When my nephew is well enough to leave hospital, my sister will be his sole carer and will therefore be unable to resume work for the next few months. This will inevitably have a huge financial impact on them.
They really need your help.
