Hello! My name is Eleanor, and I am currently studying a Football & Education BTEC at Shrewsbury College in association with Shrewsbury Town in the Community.

Shrewsbury Town have given me the opportunity to visit Ghana with a charity called African Adventure, as a volunteer to help with the current build of classrooms and toilet blocks. I would also be teaching the children in class and in PE lessons. I would love this opportunity to do my bit to help them and have this once in a lifetime experience too, but in order to make this happen I have to raise £1,700.

I am passionate about this project and really want to help so I am busy with money raising ideas; sponsored runs and walks in groups, but also individual ones such as odd jobs in the village, cake baking (this has really taken off!), egg selling, car washing and car booting.
