Whilst studying at Swansea University, I have been presented with the opportunity to volunteer in Fiji with the students volunteer charity, VESA.
Throughout the three-week period, I will be undertaking a range of
activities, these including volunteering in local schools and villages in Interior Fiji, helping to build essential structures, as well as teaching in the schools. During this time, I will be living with a Fijian family, helping to look after the children and aiding the family in general day to day life.

My second week will involve exploring the islands of Fiji, however, this adventure week will not be funded
by any sponsorship and will be funded by my own savings.

I will also spend a week volunteering at a turtle conservation, where I will be be building habitats, monitoring hatchlings in order for them to be released back into the ocean, accommodating turtles, and undertaking coral bleaching to ensure that the ocean provides a safe environment for the surrounding wildlife.

To take part in this amazing opportunity, I will need to raise around £3500. This will be compromised of sponsorship, fund raising, as well as my own savings.

Any sponsorship or donations will go towards building materials, skilled tradespeople to supervise and assist in the building projects, accommodation, travel, and donations to local organisations helping those in need, as well as supplies such as food, sanitary water and any other required necessities throughout the trip.
