Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
At the end of June 2018 myself and a number of students will be travelling to Swaziland in southern Africa with Truro college (and now Callywith) to support the community of Shewula.
Shewula is a severely deprived community where hundreds of families are unable to send their children into education past primary school due to expenses. Many children in the community have their schooling, books, uniform and transport costs funded solely by donations from our funding going towards the Shewula Orphans Fund. Shewula is also an area where over 1/4 of the population are HIV positive leaving many a vulnerable.
I will be taking over as many resources and donations, such as toys and clothes to support children much less fortunate than myself. The money raised will go solely to the charity and children within the schools and not to the trip itself.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Donations, big or small will make all the difference!
