Rudi is 16 months old and was born with a rare genetic condition Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 1....muscle weakness and respiratory problems mean many children don't survive their second birthday.The first ever treatment called Nusinersen has been launched but is not widely available in the UK as yet. Rudi has been offered treatment in Paris, but this will be costly due to ongoing treatment for the rest of his life.This could improve his life and save it. Olivia is having her hair cut to raise funds to help Rudi get to Paris to commence this vital treatment. She is also donating her hair to 'The Little Princess Trust' which makes wigs for children with cancer.
