Mount Snowdon - Two Ways, Two Days

My name is Ella Eve and I am participating in a school program called World Challenge to India in the summer of 2019. World Challenge is an organisation that gives young people the opportunity to travel to developing countries, explore the cultures and customs of the area, take part in a high altitude trek and gain global citizenship skills by supporting local community-based projects. Past projects have included building wells and classrooms for village schools; building facilities for orphanages & conservation projects to protect endangered wildlife and habitats.


The expedition which includes flights, accommodation, equipment, insurance etc. costs £4000 and this needs to be raised by me. I am raising this money by through kind donations, cake and card sales, sponsorship activities etc.

This summer holiday to help raise money my Dad, younger brother and I have decided to climb Mount Snowdon twice in two days camping in between.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales at an elevation of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands.
