I have been fortunate to take part on the NCS project which is National Citizenship service. Their aim to help us prepare for life beyond secondary school. The second part of the course is to raise money in our community. As our way to give back to the community we are fundraising for Porchlight. We think this is a very worthwhile cause as they enrich the lives of so many homeless, disabled and vulnerable groups of all ages. We plan to aid them in a variety of ways including fundraising events and going to shelters to help out first hand. In the process we aspire to help this amazing charity continue in their inspirational mission to enhance the lives of people in need.
