Story
Attendance to secondary school in Cambodia is frighteningly low with children having to work to help their families rathen than have an education. We are very lucky that education in the UK is compulsary and I feel strongly that everyone should have the opportunity to learn and want to be able to give disadvantaged children in Cambodia the chance to learn English. The villages in Cambodia are also in dire need of support and I also want to help the villagers with building school facilities including kitchens and teacher accommodation and to also include nursery schools to promote and improve early years schooling. Water is another huge issue and we will be looking to support with digging wells and building toilet blocks as many homes do not have their own toilet facilities. Beach clean up is on the agenda as there is a huge amount of waste including plastic that end up on the beaches, this waste plastic will be supplied to womens groups for them to turn into beautiful jewellery that they can then sell on.
This is an amazing opportunity for me to try and make a difference to those much less fortunate than myself so please, please give generously.
