In July 2019, I have been selected to take part in a 16 day World Challenge ecological project in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur). I have been incredibly lucky to have been chosen for this and it is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will involve helping to save the turtles.

During our time in Malaysia we will be working alongside local people and conservation organisations that are also looking to make a positive impact . We will be building a sanctuary in order to help the turtles nest ,as finding somewhere to hatch their offspring is currently a major issue that the species have. The problem is caused mainly due to coastal developments that act as a distraction and a sanctuary will hugely resolve this. As a team we will be guiding the turtles in, taking care of them and hopefully if we are lucky, have the chance to release them back into their natural environments.

The amount that I raise is the first crucial step in order to make this project happen. Whilst raising this money I will keep everyone updated with any fundraising events I will be taking part in regarding how to help and even get involved.
