My and my sister are taking part in the 10km rough runner event on the 17th of September, to raise funds for a small wildlife reserve located in South Africa.

This reserve provides a safe haven for a variety of species, but the most targeted is the rhino.

Poaching activities threaten all of the lives on the reserve, and it costs a lot of money to protect them.

Rhino Poaching has left many reserves bankrupt, and many reserves have had to close or get rid of their rhino because they cannot afford to protect them anymore. We hope to raise enough funds to keep the reserve up and running until new legislation comes into full effect, which allows the sale of ethically removed rhino horn in South Africa.
