Hi everyone,

We’ve set up this fundraising page with the aim to raise £10,000 for Maggie’s Swansea.

Unfortunately, so many of us know people affected by cancer, and Maggie’s Swansea have been an amazing support to both Debra and Kelly (Mum and Daughter) who were both diagnosed with cancer less than 2 months apart.

Debra was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in November 2021. Its an aggressive and an advanced form of cancer and she has started her chemo treatment.

Kelly was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in January 2022, has had an operation to remove the tumour and is about to start her radioactive iodinetherapy.

To help Maggie’s continue supporting patients and families in Swansea like Deb and Kelly we’d love to hit our target of £10,000.

There is a team of us setting out in May 2022 to do a 2 peak challenge, aiming to walk Snowdon and Pen y Fan in less than 12 hours.

Kelly will be taking part herself while still recovering from her treatment - what a hero!!
