2017 I'll be running the London Marathon for Muscular Dystrophy in memory of my amazing friend Liz Hammond who was living with Friedreich's Ataxia, the condition affects co-ordination, balance and speech. Heaven gained gold last christmas when Liz passed away and now lives on through her 4 beautiful children, Emily 13, Holly 9 and twins Harry and Lucy 6, her husband Rob is a keen runner himself so I have some competition!!

I met the Hammond family over 3 years ago when I stepped in on many occasions to help care for Liz, when I say care what I really mean is step in to be her personal shopper or assist with cake decorating, the women was a complete gem. Absolutely nothing stepped in her way and the time we spent together really has changed me as a person.

So, I have about 4 months to get in shape for this and I'm bricking it but go hard or go home!
