In the early hours of Saturday 3rd March my best friend Jenny lost her lovely Mum Liza. Liza had put up a brave battle with Cancer for 2 years. She gave it everything she could and fought so hard, but in the end she had to go, she couldn’t fight anymore and god needed another angel. She did everyone proud and was a fighter right until the end. But, we know she no longer has to put up with what she had to put up with during her illness the pain, have constant needles or be ‘poked and prodded’ as she put it!!

Liza leaves behind 2 beautiful children, my best friend Jenny and her little sister Ellie. Also, her Grandchildren, Jenny’s children Evie and Ronnie. As Ronnie is only 10 weeks old, Jenny is obviously on maternity leave, which is a financial struggle without the added stress of a funeral to organise. Which is where I’m hoping we as a community can come together and try and raise some money for Liza’s funeral. The family have not wanted to ask for help with this, so I have taken it upon myself to do this ‘Just Giving’ page on their behalf.

Anyone who knew Liza will know she lived life to the full, loved a party and was always the life and soul, so it’s only right we give her the send-off she so well and truly deserves.

Be crazy, be stupid, be silly, be weird, be whatever you want to be. Because life is too short to be anything but happy!!
