I have been lucky enough to be able to take part in a trip of a life time. I will be going out to Ghana next summer with African Adventures to volunteer in a local school in a village called woe! A group of us will leave on the 14 July 2018 and spend 10 days taking part in building work, teaching and sports with the local children in their school. On the last weekend we will be shown the history and beauty of the country, as we will be travelling to the cape coast to visit the castle's, beaches and rainforest's, and learn all about their history. On our last day we will then have a celebration where we will say goodbye to all the people we meet and exchange gifts we bring over e.g books and pencils. This trip has been something I have wanted to do for a long time and I feel so honoured to be able to go and make a difference!

I have chosen to fundraise the money as I need around £1860 to be able to go! which includes the flights, accommodation, visa and injections etc. I have started fundraising already by doing odd jobs for people, e.g cleaning and babysitting which I'm happy to do more of and I will be taking part in sponsored walks and fundraising ideas at school, and I will keep posting my progress on here. If you could I would appreciate it so very very much if you could donate, I also completely understand if some people don't want to or can't donate if so please still help me raise awareness as not only am I doing this to raise money for the trip but it raises awareness for the charity itself who do amazing work overseas which almost goes unmentioned.
