In March 2018 I will be volunteering as a student nurse at the Mbarara regional hospital, Uganda with Uni. For my trip I need to raise £1000 which will cover my flights, accommodation, travel, food and travel vaccinations. I hope to use this experience as a learning opportunity to improve my nursing ability by offering patients the nursing care they deserve and potentially make a small difference to their life. Additionally I hope to put into perspective how fortunate we are in this country to have access to the national health service that we do.
