This year I am running the Great North Run in order to raise money for The Peter Pan Society. This is a charity based in Gosforth which helps and supports mentally handicapped adults, providing an opportunity to socialise and have fun where in some cases there is little opportunity to do so outside of the club. I have been volunteering here for two years now at their weekly socials, so I know the amazing work they do and how much even the smallest amount of money will help the people who come to this club. The charity relies on donations and any money they can raise themselves through fairs and raffles, all of which goes directly towards improving the experience for their users. Unfortunately they are such a small charity aren't on JustGiving, hence this crowdfunding page! I would appreciate any donations you can give, and I am sure they will go a long way.
