On September 21st 2017 Connell, who is 10, will be taking part in this years Mow Cop Killer Mile. This is a 1 mile run up one of the steepest hills in Cheshire. Yes, he is completely loopy but he loves it and will get to the top with a grin on his face like he always does!

This year he has chosen to donate any sponsorship he is able to raise to two very worthwhile causes:
Dementia UK
Kidsgrove Athletic Under 11s

Dementia UK is a charity that provides help and support to patients and family's through their Admiral Nurses. They work alongside people with dementia and their families: giving them the one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions they need, and that can be hard to find elsewhere. Connell has chosen to support this charity in honour of his much loved Nan. Please take a look at the Dementia UK website for more information on the help they can offer.

Kidsgrove Athletic Under 11s football team is the team that Connell plays for. The coaches are both volunteer parents who give up a huge amount of personal family time to train the boys and arrange weekly matches etc. It is a self funding team and weekly subs only ever stretch so far so any money Connell can raise for them will be greatfully used towards kit, equipment, and trophys.
