Raising awareness and supporting a cause very close to my family and friends. Life presents its challenges and we have to... "be courageous and be brave".

Today, 4th June, my parents 35th Wedding anniversary is the day I returned to work after half term. Sat in briefing, a supportive, caring and thoughtful colleague, also a good friend presented me with a MND running vest and said "We best get practicing, I have booked us both a place to do the Great North Run". I thank you now... but maybe not during our training or after the run!!!

I would love to raise some more pennies for the MND association and particularly for the research. I would also like to take the opportunity to say thank you to everyone who donated last year when I did the 10K. I kept the giving page to a small number of people last year, but have chosen to widen this now.

***Due to a number of unforseen/unexpected things the last couple of months, with hospital visits, amendments to home, a holiday or two... which we are ever so grateful for and now my Aunties Hen do falling on this weekend.... we have deferred the place until 2019, allowing us to train properly and allocate time to enjoy this. The page will remain open and we will fundraise as much as we can for this cause.
