Emma Louise Bailey is a beautiful, loving mother of three who was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma in 2012. Since, she and her family have been living bravely with her disease.

True to her personality, Emma has always maintained a positive attitude and faced her illness head on. She has embraced an alkaline diet, meditation, classes and has made it her business to know anything and everything there is to know about her condition. No amount of bad news or unpromising scans have deterred her from her mission to beat her melanoma for good.
 On top of this, she has undertaken numerous painful surgeries, from lymph node removal to lung surgery.


Despite Emma's efforts, life has continued to put hurdles in the way of her path to health. Following a scan last year which showed that the cancer had spread to her lungs, an operation which first seemed successful then proved not to be. A recent scan showed that the cancer has now spread throughout her lungs, liver and spine and is now inoperable.


But Emma's fight with cancer continues. Thanks to improved research, there are new melanoma treatments and therapies now available which are having very promising results. These, however, come at a huge cost. That's where we come in.


For a truly amazing woman who is caring and loving to everybody around her; who is funny, brave and positive always; who never complains and tackles life and even Melanoma with the courage and strength most of us can only hope for; we're asking for help.


No matter how big or little your contribution is, whether you can hold a fundraiser or simply pass on your spare change, it will make a difference. Beyond Emma's treatment there will be complimentary therapies and possibly alternative therapies further down the line, but we need to start now.
