Emma is raising money for the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Coronavirus Response Fund by attempting to run her very own 'lock down half marathon'. Each day during her daily exercise she will log her run miles until she reaches the distance of a half marathon. This is quite a feet for a girl who is much more used to slow paced nature walks than running!!
The theatre industry as a whole has taken a huge knock during these troubled and unpredictable times.
As a charity which relies heavily on ticket sales to support their community and youth work, the Liverpool E&P have set up a coronavirus response fund to enable their invaluable work to continue after the interval.
Emma has chosen to raise money for the fund as a way of saying thank you and returning the love and support she was shown by everyone at the E&P during her time playing the role of Susan Walker in the Playhouse Christmas production of Miracle on 34th Street the Musical.
The experience of working with such a wonderful, creative and caring team has left a positive lasting impression on Emma, and the Everyman and Playhouse theaters will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts.
Let's get behind the wonderful E&P team by helping them to continue to bring outstanding theatre to Liverpool and to carry out their life changing community and youth work long after this interval!

"I was really sad when I found out that the Everyman and Playhouse were going to close because of the coronavirus.
I loved being part of a professional show there and they were the nicest people I've ever met.
I really hope they will reopen again so to help I started this half marathon challenge.
I feel so happy when I see the donations it makes me want to keep going and never quit.
