Hi, I‘m Emmi Deal and in July 2019 I will be setting off to Mozambique and Swaziland for 3 weeks with an amazing foundation known as ‘World Challenge’.🇲🇿🇸🇿

The reason I started this JustGiving page was for my biggest fundraiser yet. On the 20th of May I am doing a 7km nuclear race mud run with my Dad to help fundraise for this trip. I have always wanted to take part in this race so that I can challenge myself and also see if I can beat my Dad😂 And what better way to test my limits than running and getting ridiculously muddy for 7km! I will let you know who wins (hopefully... definitely me😂)

This trip doesn‘t have ‘Challenge’ in the name for no reason, I am aiming to raise the £4,100 asked to send myself on this trip of a lifetime without the financial help of my parents! So far, I have raised £1,500 by: selling cakes; selling dog biscuits; selling christmas/birthday cards; doing raffles; ebaying ; leotard competitions; selling refreshments at gymnastics competitions, I never knew how much children loved sweets and cakes!😂 I also have a couple more fundraising ideas to be held in the next year, to bring me closer to reaching my target!

For 3 weeks I will be trekking as well as taking part in a marine conservation project and building a community centre (youth centre). This trip will test me in so many different ways: I will be fundraising £4,100, eating different countries foods, making friendships with people I wouldn’t usually hang around with and carrying a bag heavier than me on my back for 3 weeks!😲
