Unfortunately towards the end of last season and having served us faithfully for many a year our roller broke down and is beyond repair. Alas, despite a lot of TLC and many attempts she will roll no more. :(

The roller keeps our pitch flat and keeps the quality of the wicket at its best. As the 12th team member our roller keeps our bowls fast (as they can be) and our runs at their smoothest - we are looking to secure our replacement as soon as possible - especially as the season is only weeks away.

Whether cricket is your passion, or not, our club is at the heart of the community in Englefield Green. Our quintessentially home counties village is famed for the green and the cricket that has been played on it since 1879. Yes, we are a small club, but we intend to keep the green and its traditions alive for many, many summers to come.

And it's not just tradition that makes our hobby and our love so important to the community - it is the impact we have on sport, and community culture within our village.

We have two senior teams (firsts and seconds) and an ever growing colts section of four different age groups - under 8, 9, 10 and 11. We train throughout the year instilling in the young the sense of team spirit, good sportsmanship and outdoor activity.

We are also a very sociable bunch. In the summers you'll often find us at the club, enjoying a beer, bottle of prosecco or two and a bbq. This is an all inclusive, not exclusive club and everyone is welcome.
