Global hand is a non-profit organisation working with Manchester Metropolitan University to send students to Gambia to conduct volunteer work with families and a community in order to improve their quality of living, by helping them with sustainable development projects. The Gambian community is in much need of this help as it has a small economy that relies solely on agriculture and tourism, and after recently going through the West African Ebola Crisis in 2016 and poor harvest this stunted their economic growth. Manchester Metropolitan University is starting to build a strong and reputable relationship with the Global hand project in Gambia. All donations will directly benefit the community by providing either the volunteers for the project or the resources for the projects taking place, and will be much appreciated.
