Riccardo is 35 and he was only 25 when he was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, in 2009.

Throughout his treatment, which included 16 rounds of chemotherapy, he also had to undergo the amputation of his left leg.

It’s been a very painful and challenging experience considering he was also born with a severe aortic stenosis, a valvular heart abnormalities, which made his everyday life even more complicated to deal with.

His whole life has changed, what we consider easily to be done, requires much more effort on his side.

However, he’s a fighter and he strongly clung to his life, facing every challenge with no hesitation. Every day he goes up four flights of stairs, drives his car and goes to work.

He’s making great progress with his own life and 9 years after all this started he would like to stand up on his feet so we will need your help to raise 21000£ to buy a prosthetic left leg using a special hydraulic system which will help his knee with walking and adjusting.
