On 20th November 2017 I am going on a school charity trip to Ethiopia. The places on the trip were limited to just 4 people from my school year so I had to apply and luckily was sucessful. This is a massive opportunity for me and I'm sure it will be a once in a lifetime trip with many humbling but amazing experiences. 

School has asked that we raise £1500 which will include the cost of the trip but also, and much more importantly enable us to donate to the linked charity in Ethiopia, Jeddco to help children and poverty in Ethiopia.

As part of the trip we will take part in the Great Ethiopia Run along with Haile Gerbreselassie who is an ambassador for the charity and attend a local school in Derbre Berhan. Other activities include visiting communitites allowing us to experience the culture and divide between the poorer surrounding areas compared to the capital Addis Ababa.

I have taken part in some fundraising activities but would appreciate any donations.
