We are organising the first ever end of season charity dinner. This has been in the works for the past few weeks and we can finally announce the exciting plans we have for the club. It will be held on Friday 4th May at Colchester RFC. This is a ticket event with a black-tie dress code. Tickets will include a 2-course meal, DJ, auction, raffle, other entertainment, an awards ceremony and of course a donation to the charity, MIND. You will be able to purchase all of this for a set price of £20.

Tickets will be available to purchase on Friday 30th March; we will be sending you the link directly. However, if you donate a minimum of £3 to our ‘Go Fund Me Page’ before Friday 30th March (friends and family can donate on your behalf) you will be able to purchase a ticket at a reduced price of £15. When donating please ensure to give your full name and reference ‘EssexRugby2018’ in the comments of your donation. If a friend or a family member is doing this on your behalf, please ensure that they reference your full name, followed by EssexRugby2018. This will then give you the opportunity to reserve and purchase a ticket at £15.

We have a maximum of 120 tickets available. Please note that tickets will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Tickets will be available to invited guests first. This includes all members of the rugby club and our extended partners. After Friday 13th April, these tickets will then go on general sale to anyone that wishes to attend. This will include any +1s that you may like to come, alumni and other friends or family.

It is important to mention that this is in aid of a charity, which our Club has supported over the years. The more we can do for this wonderful cause the better. All proceeds of this event will go directly to MIND. So please do not stop at £3! Encourage friends and family to donate to our Go Fund Me Page by sharing the link on Facebook. If they quote your name in the donation comments with EssexRugby2018 your donations will be totalled, and the top 5 contributors will be entered into a raffle with the prize being their ticket price refunded and a free drink at the bar!
