I have been doing charity work for many years now, I have raised over £2000 for numerous charities including: Breast Cancer Research, Mind, Cancer Research, Christies, Manchester Children's Hospital and helping the homeless situation in Manchester. I am also the Community Champion for Morrisons, raising money for Children in Need most recently and now aiming to do future events with Morrisons; raising money for money worthy causes in the future. I wanted to do something extraordinary. I have always said to people; if you met me for the first time, and asked me what is one thing that I have done what I am the most proud of? I honestly wouldn't be able to answer, I feel like at 23 years of age, I haven't done that one thing I am most proud of. I feel that this opportunity is one I can't let slip by, which is why I have placed my deposit to be a part of the team to Uganda on July 14th (my birthday!)

This fundraising page is just to get the ball rolling with the fundraising, I will be doing more specific fundraising in the coming months, but this hopefully is the starting point where people can hopefully donate whatever they can to make this trip possible and help children who are less fortunate than ourselves. Your donation would mean I could be a part of a team who will work tirelessly for these children and give them years of happiness with a fully functioning playground.
