Next summer, after i have completed my GCSE exams, i am hoping to go on an exciting trip to Nepal. During this adventure i will be spending a large amount of my time there working alongside the community, helping to do things such as buliding water pipes to provide fresh water for villages and building classrooms so that more children will have the oppurtunity to learn. In order to go on this trip, i need to raise money for providing materials for the community project in addition to my travel costs.

To do this i have set myself the challenge of doing a multi-pitch climb 2500 ft high in the mountains of the lake district. Despite having been climbing indoors for aproximately 6 years this will be my first outdoor climb, so will be much more advanced and nerve-wracking than i am used to.
