I'm going out to Calais next week to volunteer with Help Refugees, whose work involves delivering vital aid, supplies and food to refugees.

The Jungle camp may no longer exist, but this does not mean in any way that the refugee 'crisis' has been solved. In fact, the refugees remaining in Calais are more vulnerable than ever.

If you could spare any amount of money, big or small, it will all be donated to Help Refugees at the end of my week working with them. Alternatively, if you have free time, they are always looking for volunteers whether its a weekend or longer.
