Dear Animal Lover,
We are ticking off a box from our Bucket List by hiking the Everest Base Camp this October 2017. However this dream will only be complete if we also embrace a cause we love and raise money for it. Or aim is fundraising to help Human Society International and Soi Dog Foundation to Stop Dog Meat Trade in Asia and give asian dogs love, care and their dignity back. We will also donate money to a portuguese charity ( all links below) .
Abandoned animals is still a sad reality in Portugal and numbers raise to more than 10 thousand pets per year surviving on the streets. Charities live on a daily struggle to get enough funds to collect stray dogs and cats out of the streets , to pay for veterinary care and finally find them a home.
To make this journey exciting to everyone , we will write the name of each donor and will take a picture once we've reached Everest Base Camp .
